About Joan

Joan Marsh has almost 35 years in the Food and Beverage industry. She has worked at Charlotte Country Day for 24 years she was the assistant Food Service Director for 6 years and has been the Food Service Director for the past 18 years. She has lived in Charlotte, NC for nearly 25 years with her husband of 22 years. She has a son Cole that is 20 and is a junior at UNC Charlotte. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Upper School & Lower School Executive Chef

About Jim

Executive Chef Jim Stouffer is a well-traveled culinary professional with a 27 year career in scratch cookery, kitchen managing, and food & beverage consulting.  Jim earned his degree from the University of North Florida and Johnson and Wales University.   His talents emerged from working under Michelin trained Austrian, French, and Italian chefs where he developed a solid knowledge of culinary technique, kitchen etiquette, and cultural history.  Jim resides in Tega Cay, SC with his two sons Julian 8, and Leonard 10.
